Planting and growing flowers

Post by birdman » Mon Mar 10, 2008 10:35 pm

We have planted some really nice flowers and they did look nice for a while :P

Now how can we keep them growing instead of them being on the diner table of our local groundhog and family?

They have given new meaning to the phrase taking the family out to eat

yeah, those woodchucks can be a real problem.
I don't know if either of these would be effecting, but you might try planting some garlic around the flower bed, or getting some of that pepper spray you use to deter pests. That might help some.
Your other options are to trap and relocate, or choose some other flowers. I was just browsing briefly and found several discussions on flowers that they do not like. So, if you didn't mind switching the kinds of flowers you have, you can probably find some they wont touch.
